Leviano x Guap508 — "085 508" (Art by Afro'G)
"085 508", the collaboration between MCs Leviano and Guap508, landed with a visual identity that is hard to scroll past: heavy colors, graffiti-cartoon characters, and a signature that points straight back to the street. The cover is signed by Afro'G (@afrog.arte), a visual artist from Recife, Pernambuco.
Even with the post clearing 17 thousand likes, and the caption itself reading "COVER BY @afrog.arte", the work has travelled nowhere near as far as the cover deserves.

Not the first time
This is not Afro'G's first heavy appearance in the scene. Back in February 2025 he painted an exclusive piece for a project involving MC Hariel and Memphis Depay, portraying faces tied to the essence of the favelas.
From Favela do Detran to Cais do Sertão
Behind @afrog.arte is Ricardo Gabriel, a self-taught painter and graffiti writer who grew up in Favela do Detran, in Iputinga, Recife. The son and grandson of waste pickers, he started out drawing with whatever his mother and grandmother pulled out of the trash. "I learned to draw before I learned to walk", he told Nordestesse.
In September 2025 he opened his first solo exhibition, "Nostalgia: Memória e Infância Negra", at the Cais do Sertão museum. For the full story, Carina Benedetti's piece on Nordestesse is worth the read.
